This dual voltage flat iron was the perfect one I was looking for. It merely needed to be plugged into a UK adaptor before I could start using it. I only rated it a 4 overall because occasionally, after releasing my hair, it would lock in place when I used it. But after a couple of clicks, the flat iron will reopen and be ready for use. If not for that, I adore this and will even use it at home. My hair is thin and straight, and the 370 degree setting worked great. I would repurchase.

On a recent vacation to England, this straightener performed flawlessly for me. It has a standard US plug, so a converter is still required to put it into a wall outlet, but because it is dual voltage, it can also operate on UK power. I only gave it four stars because using it caused my hair to randomly become trapped and pulled. Otherwise, it performed an excellent job of straightening my naturally curly hair, and even in the snowy and rainy conditions, it remained straight all day.
